We offer a rotating gallery of celebration cake designs that we can make in a color palette of your choosing.
If you are planning a themed event for a birthday, we will work with your color scheme and then provide suggestions for cake toppers and decorations to pull your design together. Our designs are chosen to allow flexibility for a wide variety of celebrations and it is fun to see what our customers create with them!
Please note: We do not decorate themed cakes ourselves any longer (Ex. Star Wars, Frozen, etc.) but are happy to coach you on how to make this happen if that is what you’d like!
SIZE OPTIONS & ORDERING DEADLINES for 6”, decorated 9” and 2 tiered cakes:
* 6 inch, round - $39 plus decoration and tax, feeds 6-7 guests
* 9 inch, decorated round - $52-70 plus decoration and tax, feeds 12-16 guests
* 2-tiered cake, 6” & 9” round stacked - $144 plus decoration and tax, feeds 25-30 guests
PRICING:
The complete cake pricing is determined by the size and flavor of the cake as well as by the design chosen. Our design options range in decoration charges from $10-50 plus tax. Be sure to include when you need your cake for and the best phone number to reach you at if you email us. We will then call you to chat about all order details. DEADLINE TO ORDER:
We ask for a minimum of 7 days notice for ordering all decorated celebration cakes, 6” cakes, and 2-tiered cakes; These are custom items for us and must be worked into our baking and decorating schedule.
Need something on shorter notice? We have all of our 9” round cake flavors available for pick up daily as a whole or half cake (in place of a 6” custom cake that needs to be pre-ordered!). Simply drop by or order these options online!
Orders for 6” cakes, decorated cakes, and 2 tiered cakes for the upcoming weekend are due in the Saturday prior by 5pm.
Please note that each cake is truly a work of art by one of our decorators and will vary slightly depending upon which of our team designs and decorates your cake. Embrace this originality and be prepared to have a little unexpected bit of joy when you see it revealed! No two cakes are ever alike!
Cancelled orders will be remedied via a Maxie B’s gift certificate, not a refund. Our team works very hard to both take and bake your orders and while we understand that life happens and causes changes, we know you will find the desire for cake in the coming weeks.

Our petite cakes are two layered 6” cakes. ( note : that berries vary season to season )
Baby Smash Cake
This is a jumbo cupcake and a regular cupcake iced together. Available in chocolate or vanilla.
Handmade Buntings
A handmade ( by one of our team ) bunting to add a pop of fun to any cake you choose! Add a candle or a sprig of greenery and you’re ready to celebrate !
Other custom-decorated cakes
At the current time, we are not creating any additional custom decorated cakes other outside of what you see in our gallery.
However, in addition to the more elaborately decorated cakes in the gallery above, we continue to bake and ice our Classic 9” round cakes in a variety of flavors that are available daily and we are always happy to add writing on top of the cake with a simple border. Kindly remember that we need a little bit of notice for writing and borders as our decorators are not available after 2pm on Friday for the remainder of the weekend!
Feel free to order a classic 9” round cake through our Online Ordering. Simply comment in the special notes section what you would like for the writing to be and which color would best fit your needs.
If you do not need a cake as large as our 9” round ( which feeds 12-16 ), we will also offer our 6” round cakes with writing and a border. We do ask for 5-7 days notice on these and request that you please email us at info@maxieb.com to begin an order with us!
