Before placing your order,

we ask you that you take a look at our detailed

(yes, we know it’s wordy!)

shipping information below:

  • If you have any specific questions about our shipping service, please feel free to email us at info@maxieb.com. We are happy to help and we love spreading the joy of cake ( and pupcakes, & Pies ! ) to our customers both near and far!

  • UPS Ground is best for any orders on the East Coast. Any orders headed West of the Mississippi River must be expedited to either 2nd Day Air or Next Day Air. Please refer to our map below. However, during summer, we recommend choosing the shipping speed that will enable your cake to arrive in 1 day!

  • Though we are not able to write on or decorate our cakes that are shipped, we would be happy to include a special note inside of the box for the recipient.

  • Please order 5-7 days in advance of your needed arrival so that we have ample time for packaging and freezing your items to travel safely.

  • Pricing for the cakes is based on the cake cost (per our menu) as well as the handling fee for all of the custom packaging needed to transport our treats safely. UPS does add shipping on top of the for their shipping services.

  • Our cakes & pies freeze just fine … so, eliminate the worry over delivery times with shipping and just order them a few days in advance of when you plan to serve them! That way you are in control of pulling them out to thaw in the perfect amount of time and you won’t have to worry about them arriving on time!

  • We do not ship CUPCAKES! ( Note: We have tried….but they have not held up well in our tests for shipping! )

We cannot be responsible for UPS delays … thank you for understanding!

For peace of mind, we’ve added the option to “Ship Early” on our order form!

Our cakes and pies are fine to arrive earlier than you plan to serve them.

Simply store in your freezer until the day before serving, then thaw and enjoy!

Did you know that our cakes are thoughtfully packaged with eco-friendly shipping supplies?
